Flexible spaces for creative work

Woodburn Creatives is a shared workspace for creatives and community. We offer raw private studio spaces for creative practices and large blank-canvas hire spaces for creative activities. We understand and respect the creative process and eliminate the barriers, so that you have freedom to explore, express, produce and unleash whatever it is that you do.

We welcome a diverse range of creatives of varying fields and experiences, from hobbyist to professional practices while providing opportunities to make valuable connections. A space to engage in your creativity, collaborate, share and learn new skills to bring ideas to life.

Our building is located in Redfern a vibrant suburb rich in culture and history - only 10 mins from Sydney’s CBD, and 5 minute walk from Redfern Station. The building is surrounded by many shops, cafes, bars and galleries.

Our Purpose

Our creative industries and individuals are the explorers and producers of our symbols of culture. This provides immeasurable value and vibrance to our community. Our city, like many others, is constantly displacing creatives. While we have opportunities to consume culture we do not have enough to produce it.

We are committed to keeping space for the exploration and the production of creative work. Nurturing creative culture and creating connections between diverse individuals. We invite collective action, through open conversations, to find shared solutions for creativity to flourish.

We explore solutions to define what creatives need in a changing landscape. We aim to establish new models and accessible infrastructures for creatives.
